Once again, another twist - it is now official, and come November 14th 2011, IT Support at XXXLutz will be no more. Yup, my colleague and me have been given the boot. They have to cut costs somewhere!
How will the store manage without any local presence when computers start giving trouble and printers no longer print? I don't know. Nobody knows. But for one more month I will still try to care.
Back on the job hunt, I hope to find whatever it is starting in January of 2012. That would be great! All of December off, and I can finish the work on the house. True, the lady will be working all this time, and that will be a bit of an imbalance, but at least we would know that 2012 will start off with some certainties; better than the start of 2010, which by years end had turned out to be pretty alright anyway.
Onwards and upwards.
